Utwór przepiękny, ciarki i gęsia skórka. Kiedyś słuchałem go na Radio Luksemburg i na Radio Wolna Europa, ale później jakoś mi to umknęło. W 1975 r. urodził mi się syn i ma na imię Sebastian.

I will die for it. To be played at my funeral ( no joke). As one of the greatest Bolan fans ( as he was) no problem. This is outstanding. Fantastic. As having said above. Play it at maximum volume. Touches my soul. Have to end here ......

A very special and mystifying song indeed. Considering funeral "departure" songs, there are many to choose from. E.g. this one, kzbin.info/www/bejne/e2SoiIyojtV3rdk (it switches between Gregorian and Loreena vocals.) And this one kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6uvlYSYeLiLldk , captures some of the same special state of mind. Then there are pure instrumentals which puts one in a state of tranquility and contemplation. kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWabcqGeo8d8nas

This was in 1973. Six years later, in 1979, the same producer in London handled the recording of the second and arguably the best album of an ex-yugoslavian supergroup Bijelo Dugme. I grew up with their songs, one of them in particular. Was always mesmerized how strange the arrangements were, the classic and modern elements. Never knew what inspired it, but seems so obvious it was inspired by Sebastian: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jIWtqnqJerOhkLs

this was first recorded as an upbeat song but steve was asked to re do it as a slow number , brilliant . Does an up-tempo version exist any more?

Deeper then many can imagine. The songwriter knows what pain of life is, only in this situation he could write this songs. This is Art and Poetry.
