Cockpit View: HONG KONG - Landing at Sunrise
A fantastic and enchanting magic light spreads out over Hong Kong International Airport during an early morning approach with the first sunbeams of the day, casting also some illusionary shadows over clouds and waters as well. After a long night's flight a very nice gift from mother nature, I wish everyone could see.
Frankly: While taking it, I did never ever expect that this video would show such an extreme fascinating view, cause the GoPro is usually pretty bad in taking dusk or dawn footage.
Hong Kong has always been a very special place for me, it became kind of a second home over the years and I enjoy every landing and stay here.
I hope you like the flight as much as I did.
Video contains basic landscape description for better understanding of flightpath and situation.

Thanks for your comments!Well, unfortunately you asked me a very easy, but complex question :) Let me explain it with a little introduction: -A) You know, the pilot profession is very unique. Generally spoken, the people working in this field are usually very passionate and talented men and woman, which love flying and all the things connected to it. Usually they are extremely motivated and always thinking they do have the best job in the world. Basis for this is for sure the old human wish to fly and the magic feeling people always have while beeing aloft. Actually, lots of pilots feel that flying is somehow a bit like "fleeing", isn't it funny how similar These two words sound, right? ;) Behind all this there is for sure a good reason, but I must admit: I am personally still searching for it. Even after thousands of flight hours today I can't really express in words what this magic is and where it does come from. That is the emotional part of it and I guess you are also infected by this flying virus, otherwise your question here would't make any sense. This is very good - cause you will need this motivation and passion definitely when you wanna become a professional pilot. Tip from my side: Just read the book -->"A gift of wings" by Richard Bach
