Tipsy Bartender is like the Epic Meal Time of alcohol. All his creations look good and sound tasty in theory but never in practice. Too random of booze, insufficient mixing and WAY too much sugar.

That's literally what people are drinking at parties. Liquor naturally tastes like garbage. Hence why the most commonly ordered drink, is something with sugar aka Margaritas.

I tried a few of his cheap jungle juice recipes and he is on point. He also has a more informative set of videos where he gives rhe basics of home bartending and mixings FOR FREE. My man has gone the extra mile in flashy entertaing and FREE informative videos through out the years. Glad a peofessional is doing a "gentlemanly" review withouth the new era criticism. Salute.

I feel Tipsy is doing what little kids who love cooking, think cooking is. Making food look like a toy you have to play with, I found the phone thing hilarious because that enhances my point, you want a drink or a toy to entertain you.

Tipsy does know some degree of bartending but most of his shakes and cocktails are for the shock value and entertainment. If he would moderate the amounts it could work. But it's entertainment.

Tipsy is an interesting study as a bartender. He’s a big personality with a throw caution to the wind approach to cocktail making. It’s not my cup of tea but I see the appeal. I’d be interested to blind taste his audience on your cocktail versus his.

Yes your's probably tasts better, but gimmicks do sell. Your's is a drink, his is more of a theam. Not bashing though, your's looks good. Just for me I liked the theam and the whole dripping grenadine etc. It was creative.

The only thing I would change about the "Good" version, is I personally would have either put it in a bigger glass, or cut some of the volume of the drink and added some club soda to top. Just cuz the Sprite added some sweetness and some carbonation. You got the lemon-lime sweetness with the sour mix, but you don't have the carbonation, and that might take the drink to the top. Maybe, if you wanna get frisky, you could add in tonic water to balance out some sweetness, but also you could hold a blacklight to it, and make it literally glow in the dark

Tipsy has his own 101 on alcohol as a hole that is informative and coherent(at least I think so) where he gives examples of drinks, one of these videos is teaching the differences of liquors and liqueurs giving examples telling some of the drinks they are used in and having bottles on hand to show some of the different types and styles of both liquors and liqueurs.

In my area it is impossible to find quality blue curacao 😢 but is does seem blue drinks are fun in the sun. Though I suspect the other drink was targeted to build on the Shark Week theme to catch the algorithm it’s not something I would enjoy.

I guess the ONE difference that I personally think counts is that while Tipsy does mix for large parties for a large number of people and is more flashy, Livio is a professional kept professional that serves at high-class parties for few reserved people. You could find them both in Miami but one is serving at a rave party in a villa close to the beach while the other serves at a classy party at the top of a building. Two books, similar contexts. Still, I believe that Tipsy would need to learn some "not-so-tipsy" skills from you. :)

@@MasterYourGlass i guess three rules are something like this: 1)Upload daily (even for stupid stuff) 2)Be entertaining and try not to repeat(unless it is intentional) 3)Make cooperations with other channels and/or involve your viewers. the drink you made is undoubtedly better to actually drink, but you can't really call it a shark attack, the gummie sharks did look kinda cool, if you had gotten one and cut a hole in the mouth and put in a little bit of grenadine then you could have achieved a similar effect without making a bad drink.

OMgosh..When you said, grenadine poured into a rubber shark..I laughed out loud. Shark Bite is on tap for shark week. People love this stuff. This is one you might fun at a resort or at say..Applebee's. But he's tapped in to the 20 somethings for sure. He's smart about that. I just did the Cherry blossom on my channel and talked all about curacao quality. Your curacao sounds interesting. I like your fix better, but I do get what he's doing.

On the first day I ask them to write down what they currently like to drink and less than 10 of them drink this type of drink. It’s more entertainment than education. I actually tried one of the jungle juices he makes, but i had to reverse engineer to make it in a smaller amount. It wasnt bad, not great. In the end i took out one of his ingredients and added a different one. Only bad thing waaaay too much sugar. P.S. i havent tried it but his coffee jungle juice looks good.
