Cocoa Beach Crawl

Let’s be clear about something right from the start: There are at least 10,000 reasons to go boating during this time! The various, soothing water, fresh air and sunshine, wildlife that you get to see must be number in the hundreds if not thousands by themselves. You can totally tune out!
Take the Cocoa Beach Crawl just south of Port Canaveral Florida. As the old saying goes, “The cure for anything is salt water”. During this time, let’s face it, America; we all need to get more exercise. And getting that exercise out on a boat in the fresh air and sunshine is a lot more fun than running on a treadmill.
Brevard County is delighted to support the city of Cocoa Beach’s pro-active efforts to remove muck from canals along the Banana River. We are seeing improved water clarity and reduced risk of fish kills in areas where muck has been removed by dredging. Muck removal improves lagoon health and jump starts recovery while we continue the long-term work to reduce upland sources of pollution.
Get out there and refresh with the Cocoa Beach Crawl!
