I have watched several of your videos. I think they are amazing. The only issue I see is in the follow up with comments, replies, etc via KZbin. Thank you for helping us to learn how to make these incredible gifts in an easy to follow format. You are amazing and very funny!

I made bath bombs that turned out really good and left them more than 24 hrs to dry. I wrapped them in plastic bags and labeled them but within 2 days they collapsed and crumbled. They were really hard to begin with, is there anything you can tell me to get a better bath bomb next time?

Thank you so much for your fabulous tutorials. I love these and learn so much from you. My question is how much Baking Soda ie ounces and citric acid have you used in this recipe if you used only 1/2 ounce of cocoa butter please? If you use 16 ozs of B.S. And 8 oz of C. A. , how many oz of liquid cocoa butter.

you can use water and food coloring if you make a wet mix consisting of the essential oil, olive oil, water, and food coloring

Is it me or when she sifted the first lot citric acid there was a hole in the Sieve or was it just the lights as when the 2nd lot of baking powder was going through you could see it going through the hole xx

Hi I am new here.Should I add mica or liquid coloring?Which is better?
@elizabethG6334 жыл бұрын
I would use a double boiler rather than a microwave oven, as you have far more control over how hot it gets, and stainless steel is better, no leeching.

they didn't fizz because the water was cold ..

Christine De Jesus I'm guessing this was a short lived thing. The last time the website was updated was around August of last year. I wish I'd heard about it before! I'd have done it!

My bad! Do you have a website?
@brandynettleton16587 жыл бұрын
Christine De Jesus I don't. We are a very small operation and mostly do local sells. I started with friends and family and now do some local markets and also a few local shops will sell small amounts here and there. I've not put too much thought into a website, but maybe soon!

What's wrong with using water to spritz? I use it all the time. So long as you know HOW to use it, there's no problem. People get too impatient, spray too much and end up making the mix erupt. That's THEIR fault, not the water. The water evaporates and my bath bombs are solid within an hour and ready to go.

Can you give me your recipe?
@justsoaps32405 жыл бұрын
Nothinga wrong with water. Like you said just have to know how to use it. My recipe calls for water and it works great for me. I find some people just do not know how to work with the water without it fizzing on them so they recommend you dont use it, but it's fine to use the water

Fragrance Oils sound a cheap and inferior thing to use on yourself. Pure essential oils like rose oil or lavender oil or citrus oils like orange oil, bergamot oil, lemon oil, Neroli oil or peppermint oil or rosemary oil etc. These are extracted from pure herbs and are absolutely safe on skin if used in low concentrations and in carrier oils like almond oil, jojoba oil, coconut oil, etc.

Hi
@Izzazzo5 жыл бұрын
a serious DIY'er would never microwave ANYTHING! there's a reason the waterbath is used - to preserve the nutrient profile. I seriously can't believe "successful professionals" still do AND advise this bogus technique of nuking perfectly good ingredients.

The issue I've heard in several of the older videos, probably while she was working the kinks out, is static. I have a brand new computer with excellent speakers and there was static during the video. To be honest, it was an excellent video so I just tuned that part out, but I can see where for some, the white noise might be distracting.
