I've subjected myself to a few of your videos, most notably, Titusville and Cocoa. Your self-serving, incessant, running commentary is remarkably annoying. Your comments often devolve into incomprehensible muttering, especially when your comical sidekick and co-pilot dissolves into a coughing hack, or the two of you decide to talk over each other......just a cacophony of noise. I won't tell you how you spent so much time in Rockledge, claiming to be in Cocoa (Coco-not Coco-A) or how you ignored three quarters of the city because it didn't fit your predetermined description of "hood." So, thanks, I'll keep a lookout for videos from Southern Life....and promptly delete them. You are a prime example of 'just because you can, doesn't mean you should.' Just because you know how to operate a camera and post it to KZbin, please avoid the temptation.

You are right on the cocoa Rockledge border, I went to middle school out there in the late 70’s . Florida was one of the last states to desegregate and I got bussed where ya are from all the way over off of Dixon and the river. That particular area has always been bad but it has gotten much worse over the years. It’s sad. Things got really bad in the last 15/years. No matter what it’s still home, even though I moved away in 95.
@caseymccray13872 жыл бұрын
Miami was like the only city to desegragate schools early on in florida 1959 or 58 was like the first year they did it . That was much eailer than even some of the up north states. other areas were mid 60s and early 70s. Connectuit however you spell it was also one of the last to. With that being up north its very shocking.

@@caseymccray1387 yea I was too young to realize what was even going on at the time. I still didn’t until my senior year of high school. @lisat1204 Жыл бұрын
I agree Coca is full of very strong beautiful people. My nephew was one of those raised in those streets. He got beat up and they stole his bike, left him on the ground unconscious, he was 10. At 12, he was jumped again for a scooter. I'm talking Stone St and Rosa Jones. My grand daughters boyfriend was killed in a botched home invasion when she and the baby were watching. Than, her friends were shot and killed. Her own child was shot accidentally by a friend thinking it was cool to have a gun. All within a 5 mile radius and all within 3 years time. Crime is out of control. So sad. I myself left the state to save my son from the criminal mentality. It took him 2 years before he could actually relax and stop watching in hyper aware mode every where he went. It's peaceful and at a slower pace here. We can leave our door unlocked. Can you?

I'm from Detroit and I'm working on moving there in th enext few years. This is the most least HOOD hood I've ever seen compared to where I'm from.
