Cocoa is inland from Cocoa Beach. Grew up in Cocoa. It’s mostly run down, but Cocoa Village is nice/small. Stay beach side if you ever visit!

I bought a house in Cocoa FL and moved in September 1 st. I'm still not sure if it's good or bad, some areas are awesome and some l awful. Same as in most cities in many of the States I've lived in.

Cocoa is alright.. Cost of living is better than most places in Brevard County. Merritt Island, Viera/There Avenues is nice for shopping and Cocoa Beach is beautiful!

Yes it is safe, it's like anywhere else. It has it's good and bad spots. I lived in between Cocoa and Merritt Island for the better part of 22 years and I can say. Merritt Island has bad parts as well so does Melbourne. I travel this entire county and commute all over Florida. I have yet to see a place that is 100% safe and this is coming from someone who works in Vero Beach. All rich people and they even have drunks and druges robbing and stealing.
