so I started making sweet potato cheesecakes about 30 years ago. You have to use real sweet potatoes not to buy fillings and you have to string them to get out all the strings. I also use a combination of Philadelphia cream cheese has a very good flavor profile you have to use real vanilla extract, although in a pinch, the other stuff will do and don't use too much of any particular seasoning but to give it a really rich flavor oh this is culture. Intuitive. Use some salt to bring out the sweet flavors. It's the salt that marries all the flavors together just like candy.

I would've definitely not liked the 3rd cake. A few years ago I tried a small slice of rum cake for the first time and I spit it right out which was because I'm not a big drinker. I'm with Carlena. I don't like alcohol in deserts together either lol.

I LOVED this episode! And mostly because of the ladies! I hate that it has almost become a stereotype that whenever POC moms try each other's food, they will be catty and unnecessarily b*tchy about one another's food. Biased. Rating in specific ways so they'll come out on top. It's not funny. It's not endearing. It's toxic and it portrays a f*cked up stereotype. I want to watch ladies who set an example. Who show us a type of way to behave that is lovely and respectful. So thank you for choosing these 3. It was still a little spicy but at least within a normal range of what one can expect in a competition. Also, the second cheesecake looked AMAZING. I want it so badly. I need a recipe omg.
