These are soo good! (I only used 5-8 drops stevia though) I wanted some variation so I split the mixture into 3 batches and did one plain, Mexican chocolate, and chai. Mexican chocolate: Splash of vanilla 2 extra drops stevia 1 tbsp cocoa powder 1/2 tsp. cinnamon A dash of nutmeg and cayenne Chai: 1 heaping teaspoon cinnamon 1/8 tsp cardamom 1/4 tsp ginger A dash of black pepper and ground cloves A splash of vanilla I didn't think of this until later, but I think a pina colada one would be good too! Just add some rum extract and pineapple juice (:

Keto Connect please tell us why I get stomach pain eating a high fat diet both myself and my daughter suffer from this . Thanks
@annemarie68917 жыл бұрын
doo da I used to have pain after eating foods high in fat and it turned out to be my gallbladder (gallstones). I had to have my gallbladder removed and now have to be careful with fat, but no longer have to deal with the excruciating pain. Gallstones run in families (everyone on my mom's side has this issue), so this may explain why your daughter has the same problem. This could be lots of things though, so see a doctor if you can.

Hey guys!! I recently got into the keto diet and came across your videos. Great job!!! Love to watch you two together and you have so many great recipes to choose from. I'm sorry about this but I do have a very small criticism to make. When you are cooking and you show the packages on camera, they appear upside down. It's hard to see what you are showing. Other than that, keep the great videos coming.

This is the recipe I've been looking for for months. I guess just keep scrolling. LOL I added a couple heaping tablespoons of Icing Sugar Swerve instead of stevia and a couple heaping tablespoons of cocoa powder, stevia sweetened chocolate chips (didn't measure), they sunk to the bottom so my plan is next time to fill the cups then add a few chocolate chips in each. I am so grateful to have found this wonderful recipe. Bombs away!! One can coconut milk, 3/4 cup coconut oil, 1 cup coconut flakes

Sorry I am new to keto so I have questions! If I do not have those moulds .. how much should a fat bomb weigh? For macros purposes?
@peterm.eggers5206 жыл бұрын
The key ingredient is the coconut oil which solidifies below 76F, and is basically all saturated fat, and very satiating. Though I like the taste, I can't eat but a small amount plain. Refined coconut oil removes almost all of the coconut taste for those that don't like that taste. You can add coconut flakes for texture and taste. You can add flavored oils/extracts for obviously different flavors. You can add nutrients to the fat bombs through nuts (macadamia, pecans) or seeds (pumpkin, flax, hemp, sunflower), if you don't need to just add fat and want food. The nuts or seeds can be anything from butters to whole -- your preference. I like to quickly saute nuts and seeds in butter at low temperature to preserve nutrients and give the fat bombs an even greater taste, but can be an enticement to over eat for some people. You can add cocoa powder for taste and a magnesium (and some other minerals) boost too. You can add heavy cream to maintain a high or very high fat ratio, soften them a bit, and add a premium ice cream taste and mouthfeel. You can add egg yolks for a big nutrition boost, more of a custard taste, slightly softer, and not lower your fat ratio much. You can add cream cheese for a somewhat cheesecake like flavor and smoother texture. By combining different ingredients, you can get all sorts of frozen or cold treats of different textures, mouthfeel, and nutritional value. Coconut oil and just a few drops of a flavoring oil(s) is all you need -- very simple, and simply a fat bomb. I tend to not eat these regularly. Mainly, just to add to a meal that didn't fill me up, or on the rare occasion that I'm hungry outside my eating window (OMAD).

Hi, I love your video. I just wanted to say that I tweeked your recipe. Instead of stevia (which I hate) I used swerve confectioners . Also to give you heads up if you don't shake the can of coconut milk you will get coconut cream. You just have to pour slowly once you see the liquid stop. I also added real vanilla not the extract due to the alcohol contents. Then I added 1 Tbsp of MCT oil. Added the coconut flakes. That's it.

I came up with these the beginning of week, think I put too much in because I got terrible cramps.

Just a tip ( no offense here ) but she doesnt tell you in this video that its impossible to put the silicone mold in the freezer without spilling everything all over the place and wasting it because the silcone mold is flimsy. If you already wasted $10 on the mold like I did, try putting a cutting board under it. That didnt work for me because of my fridge. I had to cut mine in half to work and even then youll need to be careful not to fill the mold too high. My gf did think all the cursing I was doing from being so pissed was funny tho.
