Coconut Milk in your Thermomix! | Sophia's Kitchen

Believe me when I tell you that once you make your own coconut milk, you'll never buy it again! It really is so simple and so quick, and the results are so delicious. Perfect for smoothies, a yummy curry, or just about anything else you could imagine!

350g unsweeted shredded or desiccated coconut
1000g water
Place the coconut in the mixing bowl and shred 20 Sec. / Speed 10.
Then add the water and combine 1 Min. / Speed 10. Place a muslin or a nut milk bag into a strainer or the simmering basket and strain the coconut milk through it. Keep the pulp for energy balls and store the coconut milk in a jug for up to 1 week in the fridge.

Hi Sophia, great video. When we've tried to make non-dairy (oat & soya) milk (we've vegan) it always separates out when we chill it in the fridge. Does this have the same issue?
