Followed your second method and did 5 eggs in the varoma silicone muffin mold - they were very raw in the middle, not nicely poached. Kept trying in 30sec increments and gave up after an extra 4mins. Won't use this recipe again

Ok so letting my starter triple in height is probably why I had a more closed crumb and the bread was a bit too sour for my taste. I'd prefer a lighter taste and a bit more airy crumb. Going to try a slightly younger starter.

What I hate the most about sourdough starter is the waste. We don't eat gluten, dairy or eggs due to allergies. We don't eat sugary baked goods either, so the only option for my gf sourdough starter is to throw it away.I was hoping for a video where you could feed the starter before baking without discarding.

Nice Video Thank you so much. What is the reason behind feeding my starter twice the amount when baking only 1 times a week?:/

Hi Sophie, I’m always in awe of someone who produces content for U-tube. On a technical issue, I find the background music coupled with the kitchen echo distracts from your brilliant presentation. It’s quite professional. I will be following your recipes and making bread this way. Ta.

Between her terrible cockney accent and the echo, this is unwatchable. It’s also information overload. It’s really not this difficult. And WTF is Canadian flour?

I didn't understand percentages vs grams and she used Centigrade temperature. She did very well explaining starters, feeding, how often how much and how often you bake and feeding.

It's a wheat flour. Like all purpose, bread flour etc. It's used for pasta and pizza dough.

Best crumpet topping = butter, small spread of Vegemite and cheese - pop under grill under cheese is melted and you’re in umami heaven! Sometimes we’re even more adventurous and we add an egg on top! 🧀🥚🧈

Hi Sophia. I’m from Singapore. Yet to try making baguette and your video is gonna be a great help! Question: is plain flour or bread flour better to make baguette? We don’t have 00 flour here. Bread flour is about 12.7% protein, plain flour 11.7%.
