It is clear that Cocteau Twins were a studio band. Saw them in Utrecht in 1986.

So, Sara, is there a chance in Cocteau heaven that you have this concert in its entirety? And, further, should your answer to the previous question contain three letters (two consonants sandwiching the vowel, "e", you would be doing the KZbin Cocteau fanhood a great service by uploading this show. OK, ... PLEASE, PLEASE ..... EVERYONE, ..... PLEASE, PLEASE ..... PLEASE, PLEASE ..... (you get the idea .... )

Is Cocteau Twins one of the roots for trip hop, lofi and downtempo music? Yay or nay?

Hi Cesar. It's great you ask the question but I would say nay. CT are out on their own. In the modern age for trip-hop and lo-fi, I'd have to look at other bands that came later, Portishead or Cowboy Junkies. But you're asking about the roots of that too.. Interesting.

Lol just because Liz was featured in a Massive Attack song made CT a root for these inferiors genres? Come on you might want to educate yourself a bit more.
