I still respect Adler, one of the best characters in the franchise. He was just following orders. Funny how so many COD players got butthurt over this but don't think twice about mowing down hundreds of enemy soldiers or blowing entire villages to shreds in an AC130. War is an ugly business and Cold War's narrative is brilliant by showing that you're not always going to save the day or have an epic final battle with the antagonist. Bell doesn't even get a glorious death like some of the other COD protags. In the end, someone has to get screwed and make the necessary sacrifice whether they're willing or not.

Just choose the lie ending (tell the team that Perseus is at Duga), tell the Soviets that Adler is coming to Duga via the radio, and just kill the team one by one. Best ending, since the canon ending is literally you dying after all that shit went down, and if you don't alert Perseus that Adler is coming to Duga, Adler just kills you with a Krig 6
