Nice session chaps 👏 , fishing is quite prolific at otterspool and can get pretty busy down there so I choose to fish there early morning or evenings and sometimes take the day off work and go in the week. Codling haven't come into the river in numbers yet but won't be long til they do , tight lines lads 👍

I mainly fish in the evening or late night as it gets really busy in the day with walkers bikes etc. Will give it another soon tight lines mate 👍🎣

Great Video as always Hakan. I’ve been fishing Mersey for 3 years now still yet to have a codling!. Don’t know if I’m doing something wrong in my rigs or bait. Do you fish close in or give it a good chuck out. Mostly using squid / cart wraps on pulley pennel or pennel paternoster

I'd change the rigs to running ledger rig and try fresh lug worm mate. U don't have to cast far for cod fishing on the mersey, I have caught them really close in at times but usually ranging 60-100 yrds. Thanks for watching 👍 🎣
