Good luck, not sure what u be targeting and what sort of ground u be fishing ? I never fished in lanzarote but it ll be similar fishing, for beach fishing definitely need 2 piece strong rods with 8000 reels loaded up with 80lb braid. If your fishing rock marks definitely tie a long shockleader. If you planning spinning only then I'd suggest u to take 10ft rod medium to heavy casting range and 5k reel, as u ll need the extra length to avoid snagging the rocks. Hope you do well tight lines 👍🎣
