Sleep Mode Timer to shut the lights and siren off after a specific preset time if the ignition is turned off.
Horn-ring transfer allows you to effortlessly scroll through siren functions on the steering wheel without having to take your eyes off the road.
Built in Park Kill to automatically turn lights and siren functions off when the vehicle is put in park.
This feature is also designed for positive or ground inputs so that park kill can also be activated by other inputs.
Built In Siren lock function that does not allow siren tones to come on until emergency lighting is activated.

Great question :) Hopefully some Z3 users will read this and be able to offer some first hand input. We don't get the privilege of patrol car seat time like our clients do.

The red back lighting is very bright at night. Is there a way to dim this feature or turn it off without unplugging wires?

The Backlighting Level can be adjusted. Steps for doing so: Push and hold C1 or C3 while in Alert Level 0. C2 will illuminate while menu is active. Release C1, C3. Press and hold C1 to decrease backlight level. Press and hold C3 to increase backlight level. Press C5 to exit the menu. This information is available in the Installation Guide on page 6. Miguel Santana The Z3 does have a trigger wire that will active the Control-heads back-glow. If this wire is not connected, this function will not work. For adjusting Flash Patterns, that would be based/determined by the exact Light-bar that you are using.

another great controller that is cheaper and a lot better than code 3 is the Fenix Olympian 19 pad digital pad and even the control box is very compact unlike this code 3

It's not available in any other colors.
