Its pretty easy to figure out the shoulder reading! Notice in the commercial (the 2nd video in Penguin), there is a flash around 2:14-2:15. This edits out Greg checking out the phone number (>Settings>Phone). Then as a distraction, he asks the Spec to think of his ATM number, but later changes it to the last 4 digits of his phone number (so Spec doesn't suspect he had already checked it out). I agree that it is not cool to reveal tricks that are being sold. But I also think it is not cool to misrepresent potential buyers by editing out key moments of the performance or charge $20 for something iphone users already know.

People spend money to support a magicians effect that you are revealing for free online. Show some respect for the effort these people apply. There wouldn't even be an effect to reveal if it wasn't for their amazing creativity and dedication.

+0u7fluence There is no need to pay for the secret to a puzzle if you are only buying it so that you aren't fooled by it. That's the game the magic vendors play, if they can fool you with a video they get your money (FLY by ellusionist?). You can still buy the video and get the invaluable performance advice which is what they should be selling. Not silly things like misunderstanding how a calculator functions or some other simple principle like the double lift.

Im confused can someone explain the whole thing to me. This is a short video but i dont get were do you get these numbers? Are they random or are these the ones we use? Do we type in our iphone or theres? Im confused please explain with detail! Thank you

+Nassir247 Firstly he asks the viewer to put in a random four digit number in the calculator and only he can see this the magician cant in this video he chose the example 5,555 . Then the magician asks him to plus his lockscreen password with the random number in the calculator then he adds it up and clears the answer the magician takes the phone secretly pressing equals (=) which shows the 4 digit number they put in as their lockscreen password (remember they are not meant to be seeing this so just do something to distract them) then you press clear remembering the password then giving the phone back ask them to close the calculator and you take back the phone locked and slowy type the password to create effect (THIS ONLY WORKES WITH IPHONES)

+aviv massad If you watch the second video on penguin magic it has the full performance. Based on that video this is the only possible method. You press the equals button and then clear under the guise of blowing on the screen to apparently read the fingerprints

+magician0musician u r funny .there no need for read the fingerprints ...first u enter the fake pin code any four digit number and plus the real pin code and enter and press C to back to zero ....next just press the equal button the four number appear on the screen is the real pin code
