Nathan Hatter the movie is an alternative ending. Lelouch Of The Resurrection follows the 3 alternative timeline movies. It’s sort of canon, sort of not. I think of them as separate timelines. Depending on which timeline you follow, Lelouch is either alive or dead. I prefer to think of him as dead because the ending to R2 was too perfect to build on.

@@andyskill810 I think I know which parts you consider sad so lemme tell you how I actually see code geass SPOILERS: Lelouch's death I did find it sad when I first watched but as I thought about it again and again I found it a necessary element to the show and that it adds to the beauty of the anime and hence I just accepted it also it is a little sad but catch the tone of my comment bruh lol.
