Interesting gadget. I wonder if say power vision could "corner" the market by making their tuner read and store codes etc too. Looks pretty slick, as it should for the price.

Yeah I’m sure there’s a phone app out there with the proper connection that does a ton of this stuff. We’ve come a long way that’s for sure!

Do you have to have an Android device to use the Moto 100? Also, I wouldn't be scared of attempting the ABS module, it should have on-screen steps to follow. Otherwise, the procedure is essentially the same as bleeding brakes without ABS.

No you don’t. It is an Android based tablet itself. You don’t need anything else. Just WiFi at the house.

I've never had a code reader or anything like that so I bought this same item. I couldn't get the manual to load either and could not get any support so I returned it. It would be great if there was some literature to actually help you understand how to use it.

I am returning mine also I wanted to bleed brakes abs systems Special functions do not work. I did get a response from Tech this is a copy paste below. This device does not support ABS special functions. This menu is misplaced by engineers. Later, I will modify and delete this wrong menu. Best Regards, Grace XU OBDPROG Tech Team

Several videos on what all this thing can do. I have one and what I can't get it to do is reset the service dates/mileage. Have you done it and how did you do it? I get to the window showing the items (control unit internal date, ect.), but can't change the info.

I haven’t done any of that man. I just keep paper track of my service dates and mileage. Have you tried reaching out to customer service to see if they can help you out with it?

@@RidinDad They don’t have a customer service, but I made the same request to them. The manual is worthless. A set of instructions for a 2012 RT is incorrect.

Mark - Are you on a BMW by any chance? I'm on a BMW, have this, and it can't reset those lights either. It's actually overall pretty useless for both of my BMWs, and my Triumph too.

@@YouMotorcycle Yes, a BMW R1200RT and have a Triumph T100. Won’t reset the Service interval. The device reads codes. Expensive piece of equipment.

Not 100% sure. But if you click the link and check out the product, it has the description for all makes and models in years that it includes. I’m pretty sure it does but I will check the description just to make sure it works for your bike.

Can you rewrite the Vin on ECU , if i do a ecu swap?

I can’t verify that for sure but I would almost guarantee that you could not do that with anything. I would imagine that as just as a legal as changing the Vin on the bike frame itself

So this absolutely works on Kawasaki? I have 2 bikes, both kawi’s, and starting to do my own work on them, I am starting to learn about the diagnostic end of things, but all the units I’ve found, don’t support Kawasaki

Since you mentioned it: The Daytona TwinScan4 and the Daytona support is awful. People, including myself, have reported to Daytona that many of the features they advertise on their website do not work. They have no clue why. It is an overpriced ABS flush module ONLY. So, for your audience - perhaps you should really test all the capabilities of that unit before endorsing it.

Well I can’t test the Daytona because I don’t have it. And if you’re talking about this specific unit I was very transparent and said I think you’re able to but I cannot figure it out currently

Nope not that I am aware of. You don’t sign up for anything. I’m not sure what you were talking about with the one years time frame

No. You can still use it. The subscription is for the phone support for issues regarding the trouble codes etc. you’ll be able to use the product without that
