My best read of last year was definitely Know My Name by Chanel Miller. I recommend it to anyone who can safely read that content. It was a life changing read for me

I think the cover of I'm glad my mom died is inspired by the single cover of I will always love you by Dolly Parton... That makes me so emotional.

I’m Glad My Mom Died and When Women Were Dragons were right up there for me as well. So good. Also, I recommend trying Iron Widow, the female rage is immaculate.

I actually read Nettle & Bone this year and LOVED it. It's got classic creepy T Kingfisher vibes, but is also kind of... cozy? Idk, there's a bit of found family and it's a fantasy and there's some great dialogue. Definitely give it a read when you get the chance!
