When we are in a person’s head and hear disjointed thoughts is called Stream of Consciousness. I learned this in college when I had to read A Portrait of an Artist as a Young Man. It was super hard to read. But if it is in the head of someone with dementia, that would be interesting. My mother passed in 2019 after a stroke with dementia. It was scary for us.
