I love Wheel of TBR! I’m definitely a seasonal reader but I’m currently craving classic and cozy mysteries. (I don’t handle horror very well, so I’m pretty picky if I pick up a thriller.) I’ve been working my way through the classic Sherlock Holmes books! Also I read And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie and really loved it. I also tend to crave historical nonfiction in the fall, go figure on that!

I try to read one spooky book for Halloween each year. Right now I’m reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for the first time! I’m only 3/4 chapters in but I think it’ll be good! For Halloween itself, I’ll reread Pumpkin Heads and maybe The Cuckoos Calling by Robert Galbraith, so I very Rowling month for me. Ideas for the wheel promet, 1) didn't read in the month What is mean when you don't read one of the wheel spin (in the month before) but still want to read it so it will be on current month read 2) tveing abroad ,a book that not set in your country (that you're in), if that month you in abroad you need to read book that set in country (or maybe no, you deside) 3) frozen , a book that is the oldest on your shelf (that you forget you have it)

I loved The Southern Book Club's Guide to Vampire Slaying more than My Best Friend's Exorcism, less campy I suppose but I cared a lot more about the ending. THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY is one of my favorite classic books, although I admit I love the preface more than the story itself because Wilde is not only defending himself but also laying down a lot of the thought behind the Art Nouveau movement. I've read and reread the preface alone dozens of times and quoted it for most of my college work in Art History and History based around the time period (it's really cool when you compare it to the preface to Leaves of Grass and think about Whitman and Wilde being contemporaries and what it was to be a gay man in the United States or the United Kingdom at the time and then when you find out they actually met).

Home Before Dark, Bunny, The Southern book club guide to slaying vampires were all 5 stars for me. I've just bought on kindle for Halloween week: The year of the witching and Horrid.
