Heres a brief tutorial on coding your BMW for ease of entering and exiting your vehicle.

THANK YOU! THIS WORKED ON MY 2014 F10 535, i wrote the steps out so you can follow along!! 1 Seat module driver 2 Expert mode 3. 3000 SM_GLOBAL 4. EINAUSSTIEGSHILFE 5. Modus_FA_SLV (check this) 6. 3012 EAH 7. EAH_VERFAHRWEG_SLV_PHYS (click it) a. Custom value (click it) then input for Byte 0= 0x00 and Byte 1= 0x28 9. Get back to “3012 EAH” 10. Click “EAH_SHCUTZFREIRAUM_ SLV_PHYS” a.Custom value (click it) then input for Byte 0= 0x00 and Byte 1= 0.3C code it !!!!!!

how do you adjust the distance?

You should combine with profiles setting. It would adjust you seat automatically to driving position once you get in.

That is working thanks dude! But - any chance to program easy exit that way, It pulls back the seat when the engine button is pressed? Pulling the handle is not practical. By the time the seat drives back I am already out of the car!

Hello, All! I tried it, but I don't have option Modus_FA_SLV available in EINAUSSTIEGHILFE, only the two others and nich_aktiv. Also I completely miss 3012 or 3015 modules - mine get to 3010 and no more after it. The car is F30 2012. Is there an alternative way to get it working? I read in several forums in the Web of the same situation, but none answers were given there to the people...

I found these problem, when i turn off the car and open the door, the seat move back for more space. When i lock the door, the seat move foward to my last position i set, however when i open the door, the seat didn't move, what's wrong with it? how does it work for Easy Entry? Is that setting issue? Once i have active the easy entry, i can't deactivate even i use the backup. Anyone know how to fix it? If the Easy entry protection area set as 70, Easy entry seat travel cannot set more than 70?

Yes it should code with engine on but smarter to do it off. I’ve only coded with the car running a handful of times and it would shut itself off
