Good morning I have a 2013 BMW F20. can bluetooth be encrypted; I changed the headunit and declared it but it still didn't come back even though the vin was declared and error cleaning was done. Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you.

Hey Fritz, How can I add code for audio equalizer .I have bmw hifi in my car. It just has a bass treble and fader option. I've read somewhere you can do it. If yes does it make any difference to the audio.

Fritz, the version of Bimmercode on my phone has a headunit menu option in normal mode to enable Enhanced Bluetooth Audio by just ticking a box. Do you know if that will do the same thing as what you've outlined in your video? I can't seem to get a definitive answer from them, and I was unsuccessful in trying to push the code change to my car while in normal mode. Thanks for any help!

HEY BRO I GOT A 2015 F10 AND I JUST NOTICED THAT TOO...do i tried it and it gave me the OFFICE tab back !!! so surprising and also i get 2 telephones now, my HD to come up under connections tab, my txts come up in all the menus like his does, although it just has the number and not the cntact name for some reason.. but i do have contact pics basically everything he did just from that one tab, i wana go into the expert mode and see if theres any settings he turns on that the bimmercode enhanced Bluetooth doesn't but im too afraid of messing it up so i would most def enable it!! :) and hf lmk how it works out for u!

I've got access to Carplay which I don't want to use on my 2020 M240i, but want text on my idrive like I had in my 2017 230i. I can't even code in enhanced bluetooth because CDMM_USB_AUDIO isn't even an option in expert mode under HMI. Anyone know how I might be able to get texts without having to use Carplay? I can't get texts even when paired with an Android phone.

Hi I have a an F20 2013 and it doesn't have "Telephone" in the menu at all, will this coding enable it, or does it mean the car isn't fit with Bluetooth at all?

I have a 2020 M2CS, and apparently enhanced blutooth is disabled since I can't send or receive text messages like i could in my 2019 M2C. Would this coding work? I was told by the dealer that the CS wasnt equipped with the enhanced Blu-tooth . THANKS in advance!

Were you able to resolve you issue? I just picked up a 2020 M240i and I can't get text messages like on my old 2017 230i. I have carplay available on the 2020, but no text messaging. It's driving me nuts!

@@Turbolagged I found my old ENET cable and got an updated copy of ESYS. I VO/FA coded from 6NH to 6NS and I've got Enhanced Bluetooth. Works perfect like it did on my old 230i. After I got the software installed, it took less than 10 mins. Before I did it on my own, I was given quotes from $60 to $240 to get it done. The $60 quote was because I already had my own ENET cable. Get yourself an ENET cable and just do it yourself. All you need to do is change the VO/FA code then flash you HU with the updated code. Good Luck!

@@Turbolagged Almost forgot. I was originally going to try it with BimmerCode, but when I went into expert mode to look for the options I needed to change, about a 3rd were missing. So for my car, it wasn't possible to follow this tutorial.
