Hi Edith. Wow congratulations! the CCS exam is much more difficult than the CPC. Most hospitals prefer the CCS credential and not to mention you also have an option to code both inpatient and outpatient records. I wish you all the best and thank you so much for your continued support.

Good Evening Mr. Hoang, I would like to inquire about the Anesthesia coding. As I was following along, I got a little confused when you coded the Anesthesia for tracheal reconstruction. Your steps were Anesthesia, Trachea, reconstruction to find the cpt code. In the question for Anesthesia for renal transplant your steps for finding the code was Anesthesia, transplantation, Kidney. Is there a clue in the question that prompts you to look up the body part first and in other times to look up the procedure first to find the code. May you give clarity what to go by when looking for the code and does this method apply to all the chapters. Thank you so much
