3 years ago I was a drug addict leaving an abusive relationship that was just terrible in every way. I asked god to keep me safe theough my travels and help me get clean. September 1 st I will celebrate 3 years clean. I know it is hard but loving people who hurt you but it can have a huge impact on them and can help them overcome their struggles and become better people and well as be closer to God. 3yrs and 2mnths already. 1baby and another one coming.. I thought things would change because I know that he's just hurting us because he's also hurting. He comes from a disturbing family, where his father never showed them love and their mother that never showed support. Her sister was the only role model for him but he was tempted by all kinds of bad things because of his environment. I know it's hard for him but I feel like giving up. I keep asking God to help me let him go, for the sake of my children. We just keep fighting. I keep trusting and yet he still breaks it. I'm tired but I don't want to give up on him. He's the one who introduced me to Lord and promised me that we will worship the Lord together with our family but looks like I'm the only one going to do that for our family now. I pray everyday that one day when he returns to God, we will still be there for him. Especially our children. To everyone who's going through something, I know it's hard but we'll get there. It takes time and always always alwayss remember that God is with us.

This song hit very hard. I'm going through a rough time emotionally and mentally. I'm seeing a Christian counselor because God wants me to but not gonna lie its hard. I'm remembering things from past trauma that I dont want to remember. But at the same time I know I can't hide it away anymore. Hiding it doesnt fix anything and is liable to get even worse as time goes on. It's hard and I'm extremely tired but I'll keep running to the Father.
