Cody lives, records, and primarily tours in Texas. He's deep in our Texas/Red Dirt scene and doesn't really have any ties to Nashville. They definitely won't be changing him. ;-)

@@Jason-zh5zt Wrong about what? And 2 years later? He's been touring more and more outside of Texas, but a couple of years ago the majority of his gigs were in state. It's been pretty great watching him grow a national crowd and really sweet to see him selling places out all over the country.

Kinda surprised he rarely interviews, as it flowed very well and kept me intrigued. Of course I am a huge fan of Cody, but give her credit, she would put anyone at ease and talking with her wonderful style.

I remember seeing this interview in 2016 and I already Cody Jinks was going to be the man. I was wrong I thought corporate radio would have started playing by now, oh well he didn't need them, mad props to a man that want sell out to Nashville to make the quick buck. However it is crazy I show him at bar in Charlotte that year and only 50 people where, I saw him In Asheville this year and sold out that venue in record time, talking in like 5 hours, 3000 people. Its amazing he did all that without them asshats in Nashville.
