It really hit me hard bc I had a couple girls who told me that I wasn’t ever going to amount to anything and gave me a list of things wrong with me. It it get to me but after hearing those lyrics I realized that was their problem and that I needed to learn from it and move on and find someone who likes who I am. @@WyattsTractorSales I've been working since I was 16yo, taking care of myself. I had a son at 18 and raised by him by myself. He turned out just fine, so I was used to doing things my way and they had always worked out. Then I met a man who I had been married too for 18yrs and in all that time, all he wanted to do was change me. If you liked me when we met, what is wrong with me now? I asked him. He controlled everything about me. I left him 5 yrs. ago and much happier for it. If I meet someone new (not holding my breath), I will not let this happen again. I understand we grow; we change as we get older but to try and change someone else is wrong.

This song touches my soul. Being in the military can do so many things to man or woman’s mentality and mess with them in so many different ways but at the end of the day we have to express to our loved ones how much we appreciate their love and support and that if we seem oblivious or careless to those we love, it’s not personal and that we just have to learn to be human again after working in a field that demands us to be the opposite. Thank you, Cody.

I miss the old timers and remember when Country was not cool,so to speak,be cause it did not support GOD AND COUNTRY VALUES,BUT WORDLY IDEAS,LIKE LOVE (USE WOMEN AND LEAVE THEM,MOVE ON TO THE NEXT AND REPEAT. IF IT TEMPORALLY FEELS GOOD..... DO IT, NO MATTER WHO YOU HURT...LIVE FOR THE MOMENT NOT FOR GOD,FAMILY VALUES ETC. WHAT ARE OUR,CHILDRENS CHILDREN AND THEIR CHILDREN BEING TAUGHT??? SO VERY SAD THEY TOOK GOD OUT OF H OMES AND SCHOOLS....VIOLENCE HAS CORRUPTED EVERY CHRISTIAN VALUE WE USE TO VALUE. 😢.PRAY FOR AMERICA AND ONE ANOTHER,IT IS NOT TOO LATE, WE CAN MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN....THINK ABOUT OUR FAMILIES AND THE RETURN OF JESUS. ..

58 just learning how to be human and accept where I came from, accept what I've lived through, accepting me, knowing I got scars so damn deep that won't ever heal, from the house that but me.

This is the craziest damn story but the other day I went to get my first colonoscopy as they had to put me under twice because my tolerance was pretty strong. There was a nurse that went to wake me up when I said, just let me sleep. she started singing to me and only thing I could tell her was can you sound like Cody Johnson? My wife said that’s what you said.!!I guess I guess I am a fan even under anesthesia. keep the good country music alive!!

I love the movement towards longer bridges. Gives the musicians time to strut their stuff. Lead vocalist is very visible, but their is a team with him, brothers and sisters…,covering each other’s backs…,

This song hit me hard tonight. I’m not perfect. I’ve f’ed up a bit. Hurt a few people along the way. I’m learning as I go. We all make mistakes. All you can do is try your best. As long as you’re trying, that’s all that matters. 🙏🙏🙏

Saw you at concert a while back with my girl at the time. It was one of our last amazing times together before I had to move halfway across the country, and I have to say I wouldn’t have rather spent that time anywhere else. Your concert was amazing and the second this song started playing everyone lit up. Thank you for an amazing night in reno, you’ll always be one of the greats in my mind.
