Cody's song "Til You Can't " just grabs at every emotion in your body. His voice is hypnotic and absolutely is drenched in country. 👢👢👢 Beautiful duet with Reba. Absolutely stunning harmonies together. Great reaction Craig. Glad your videos are coming through fine. 👏👏 Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

Former bull rider. I “retired” after I broke my face in 2002. Cody is my favorite. I jumped down his rabbit hole after I heard Til You Can’t.

Love this! I believe Reba was “discovered” at the rodeo when she sang the national anthem. 😍. She was a barrel racer.

This song was a love letter to rodeo for both of them 🥰 he was a bull rider and she barrel raced in their younger days. This is why he’s a favorite …he is a true cowboy !

Cody is one of the best younger male country artists, so many of them sound alike, but his voice is very distinctive and rich. I am sure he and Reba bonded over the rodeo and horses and their voices together are great.

His acoustic cover of Reba’s ‘Whoever’s In New England’ is simply stunning!!❤️ A great biopic film about rodeo- ‘8 Seconds’. Love this song; feel like rodeo can be analogous to so many different things to so many of us. As always- wonderful, thoughtful reaction. Stay safe & love much💖

Til you can't is a great song by him you will love it. And yes if you ever get a chance to see a rodeo do it! I grew up in a small town and when the rodeo came to town it was like Christmas. I never competed but go every chance I get. Love your channel. Watching you react to some of the people I grew up listening to has been so much fun and brought back so many good memories Thank you for sharing this journey.

The rodeo at the end was our Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo I have mentioned before. The Rodeo is going on now here in Houston and Cody has a night he is scheduled to perform. He wrote Dear Rodeo to perform at our event years ago and it is a very treasured memory to him. You can look up our Rodeo and find a lot of information on it. Even Elvis played at the Rodeo in the very early years. Cody is a Texas Gem and his music is exceptional. "TIL YMyou can't ", "Norhin' on you", "On my wat to you" are all great. Can't go wrong with Cody or as we call him CoJo ♡

Not only did he write that song for the Rodeo, he also specifically wrote "Welcome to the Show" for the start of the actual show

My Daddy was an “All Around Cowboy”, meaning he competed in all. His career ended after being gorged by a bull. I was a Barrel Racer for a long time. You never lose the passion and the love for it. Look for: The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. It is magical….It’s starts in February and runs through March. Not just a rodeo, but a live performance every night.

Also on the rodeo theme, "July in Cheyenne" by Aaron Watson, and "One Ride in Vegas" by Deryl Dodd. I grew up in a rodeo area, and even though I only showed horses, it's a powerful adrenaline rush to go into an arena and show what you and 2,000 lbs. with a mind and heart of its own can do.

Reba was a barrel racer at rodeos in her early years. She always said she loved it. As always enjoyed your reaction. Love from West Virginia! 👏🏼👍

I've heard him say in interviews that he wrote this song more or less as therapy; he started bull riding along with several friends and began to see them having more success and himself not being good enough to be top tier. He decided to focus more on music but still felt bitter about his rodeo career ending and this was a way to start to get past it and say goodbye. Considering here he is now singing with Reba, yeah, I think he did OK. :) I know you'd love Cody's song "'Til You Can't" and would recommend that for your next one by him.

And I meant to add - last year Cody played opening night at the Houston Rodeo and had the 3rd highest opening night attendance after Garth Brooks and George Strait!

What an amazing song and duet. I had no idea Reba was in the Rodeo when she was younger. Cool vintage to see. I do not know any songs...yet, from Cody, but am looking forward to taking this journey with you and all of your subscribers. Thank you for your reaction Craig. Wishing you a good rest of your day/night.

I love this song. I rodeoed from the time I was 6 till I got married. Barrels and pole bending were the events I did the most. My dad team roped and my brothers team roped and rode bulls. Keep up the reactions your awesome.

So, Chris Ledoux was a World Champion Bronc Rider before his Singer/Song Writer Career. Garth Brooks mentioned him in the song "Damned Old Rodeo". Garth even volunteered as an organ donor for Chris Ladoux. Chris has a song, "The Ride" that was never a huge hit, but my favorite. A lifes lesson sort of. "Sit tall in the saddle and hold your head up high....and live like you ain't afraid to die. Don't be scared just enjoy the ride"

That echo in the beginning is exactly what it sounds like in a rodeo arena when the MC is talking…for me it was Clem McSpaden for about 40 years.

I did not personally ride in the rodeo, but I grew up with it. My mom was a barrel racer, my dad was team roper, and my uncle was bull rider. So we went all the time. My Grandpa even breed horse, and trained horse for barrel, and roping. Even now I still got friends tour, and I go any chance I get.

I hadn't heard this song before or seen this video. It was a great duet, thanks so much for sharing. I am enjoying your reactions along your country music journey. Still so many, many great ones to go. Don't know if you have John Berry on your list but he has an incredible voice with so many great songs, She's Taken a Shine; Faithfully; Change my mind; Your love Amazes Me; Livin on Love; He Doesn't Even Know Her; I Will if You Will; Standing on the Edge of Goodbye. He is definitely worth listening to and I think you would really enjoy him as well. Also don't know if you have Chris Stapleton's song Joy of My Life on your list, another great Chris song.

A Cowboy and A Cowgirl. Yes, Reba was on the rodeo circuit as well. If she hadn’t, I don’t think this song would have been as powerful as it is. Craig, it would be great to see you react to Reba in the 80’s - One Promise Too Late.

I grew up in a small town in Oklahoma, we had LITERALLY one stoplight. No McDonalds, no Walmart, one real grocery store. But we had a rodeo arena, and a real rodeo every year, lol. Priorities.

Not to take anything away from Reba, she’s truly a national treasure, but CJ’s acoustic version of this is what’s on my playlist. His voice mesmerizes me. Btw, both Reba and Cody both rodeod when they were younger. Cody’s from East Texas and Reba’s from Oklahoma. ♥️ If you ever get to the States you gotta catch one. Cheyenne Frontier Days in Wyoming, Rodeo Houston in Houston TX, and then the Calgary Stampede in BC are three of the yearly monster rodeos.

This is new to me. Of course, adding Reba to any song is brilliant. Im.not too familiar with Cody's work as well. Rodeo bull riders are a different kind of crazy. I wish I could have seen Reba in her rodeo riding days. Im.not sure about live TV but there are quite a few KZbin videos of worst wrecks, championship rides, etc.
