It's been a thing with people of influence since forever, not just "influencers". Be it nobles, movie stars, CEOs, etc., we've always had scandals (and probably way more that have been buried). Statistically speaking, there's no way they're all pedos, and especially not someone who hooks up with a 17 yo. It feels more like they have a perverted desire to be in power over other people. I cannot explain the phenomenon, but I can sort of understand (but still be disgusted at) the idea that someone who has everything will now want to show that they are above everyone, including the law, and that they can have sex with whomever they want.

@@quinsey9211it is still illegal to cross state or country lines to hook up with a girl where the laws are different. If you go to a country where it is low, you can still go to jail. Federal US laws states 18 as the age of consent, and that’s what most people have to follow.

So I did some research and Cody Ko can not go to jail for this. The reason is because the statute of limitations expired 3 weeks before d’Angelo’s video came out. Florida law requires that stat rape be reported within 8 years of the victim’s 18th birthday, and Tana turned 26 on June 24th of this year.
