The Nick Bare Podcast

Күн бұрын

In this episode, I sit down with the multi-talented Cody Ko. Known for his hilarious comedy, today Cody takes us on a journey through his latest triumph of completing an Ironman and upcoming endurance challenges.
With his unstoppable rise in Hollywood, from his viral Vine days to becoming a digital megastar with millions of supporters - he is undeniably one of the most captivating guests thus far. He is also the co-host of the award-winning podcast, The Tiny Meat Gang, which ranks in Spotify's Top 10 comedy podcasts.
We dive into Cody's pursuit of a music career, building TMG Studios, training like a hybrid athlete, and unpacking his journey that led to where he is today. Cody's raw and honest account of overcoming self-doubt and reclaiming his health and fitness will also inspire you to push past obstacles in your life.

Idk why but in my eyes Cody is the type of person that can achieve anything. I never doubted him. Probably because he’s been so successful in the past and seems to have a lot of willpower and self discipline. Very problem solving oriented too. Like if he doesn’t know what he’s doing, he’ll somehow figure it out. Even when he fails at something, which doesn’t seem to happen often, he somehow still succeeds in the end. Idk what’s up with this guy

When he started training I noticed the clips with his now wife Cody was SO much HAPPIER. Just baseline. Small things, he had a sense of glee then. That stood out to me a ton

you just made my long wish of an in depth conversation with cody come true. i could tell from his second and training channel he genuinely has a refreshing and interesting view on the world. i can tell at times he's way too harsh on himself, but the amount of good he spreads in so many disciplines and areas is something really special. even if it doesn't seem that way to him. i've been watching cody and tmg's content for years and watching him grow to be such a unique person along the way is beautiful to see. also when i saw the wedding photos on my ig feed i literally couldn't stop tearing up mAN

Cody Trains, and the accompanying transformation that he brought with it, has been one of the most holistically inspiring things my fiancée and I have seen. The way he’s seeming to just take on life like a GTA character, simply choosing he can do a thing and going to do it. Like racing, and DJing. It’s given us so much drive and my fiancée is leaving her job to go full time on our business very soon because of it

This was so inspiring to hear, I feel so similar to most things expressed here, being addicted to the 0 to 1, the fear of the blank page, the idea I'm logical yet thrive in creativity (I also am in computer science but anyone who knows me knows I love to "entertain" and be the attention getter, also I made games to teach myself app/video game development/coding while in CS college anyway) @Cody Ko Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences, I've started realizing a lot about myself ever since watching your content. And thanks @The Nick Bare Podcast for showing such insight into this interview.
