This song hit me hard, my dad died in prison after serving 7 years of a 45 yr sentence. I prayed God would take him cuz prison wasn't meant for him and what he was convicted of I know my dad didn't do but unless you have lots of money its hard to prove your not. It was hard on the family when he went to prison, even harder when he was diagnosed with lung cancer while in there, because we had no money for medical treatments they did nothing for my dad. He was 73 when he was arrested, we knew he would never come home, thats when I started praying. God has been good to me and my family and always will.

My Mother lived with me, I am a single man, no wife or children. Momma had Dementia and Parkinson’s disease. I worked full time and cared for her 100 percent. I prayed God your will be done. I prayed for strength to care for Mom. HE gave me that. I was there when she passed. I held her hand, said Mom if your ready to go be with Jesus it’s okay. I kissed her forehead and placed her hand on my cheek. She took 4 breaths and went to Heaven. It’s ALL in The Lords Will. Whatever we deal with HE can give us strength to get through.

What a beautiful song! My father died also in 2013, after only 9 months of being diagnosed with cancer. We prayed for healing, but God set him free of pain and released his soul from his body to live with him forever in Heven. Thank you Cody for this song. ❤️
