Met Big Dust when I was 15 years old, almost 50 years ago...my absolute hero! Later he would come to the Florida State Fair, and hang out with us kids in the cattle barns, sit there for an hour, or two, just chopping it up, with The American Dream... incredible! I'm 64 now, and those memories will last forever... great video!

I said last night before any content came out that this would be a great episode because It's two guys who can REALLY relate with each other in a lot of ways. They've both had to live under the shadow of a name, honor it, and carve their own paths at the same time. They both do a job not many 'normal' people can really understand, they both have the unenviable task of dealing with a ton of fans wanting their time and attention... This was one of those episodes that feel way out of left field but at the same time, makes perfect sense.

@howabouthetruth2157 Жыл бұрын
Me and all my buddies were big time pro wrestling fans when we were kids growing up in the late 60's/early 70's. Saw Dusty Rhodes in person wrestle several times back then. Dusty was one of our favorites. For people who never saw Dusty in person way back then, you have no idea of just how physically big he truly was. What a massive man. He wasn't very tall, but man, he was a true "wide glide". His shoulders were in 2 different time zones. Remember Tank Abbot from the UFC??? Dusty Rhodes in the early 70's would make Tank Abbot look like some average sized middle weight.
