Here is a quick video of a Chinese sleeper train. I decided to take the sleeper train from Kunming, across Yunnan Province, to Lijiang. The trip cost approximetely $22 USD for a hard sleeper (2nd class) and took 8.5 hours. The bed was fairly comfortable. A little narrow, but the length was good. Im 5'11" or 180cm and had just enough room. I was alone in my berth so I had some privacy, but the 2nd class sleepers don't have doors so you have the open hallway at your feet so its not completely private. Over all it was a great experience.

Thank you so much! Again sorry for the delay in my comment. I missed it somehow. I took 3 sleeper trains in China. I make videos of trains everywhere I go and the trains in China are among my favorite although the bunk size can be pretty small. My all time favorite, which I didn't film, was a night sleeper train from Bangkok to Chaing Mai Thailand. The bunks were super comfortable and a good size and cheap as well. I think it was around $30. I took a train in the US from Portland to ND a couple months ago and that was around $300 round trip. Now that Im in India its so so much cheaper. My 5 hour train from Agra to Jaipur cost my about $2.50 US. Of course quality and comfort change greatly its amazing how much prices can vary around the world.

@@CodyAbroad Yes. I came from Chengdu. I am surprised that you can take it on the train, and you know not many people can drink that liquor in China😅.

@@andrewzhang3050 Well it's really easy to bring on the train since you can buy in in the train station. Yeah I'm able to drink it. It's not m favorite but it's cheap. Lol Nice! I love Chengdu! I hope I can go to Chengdu when I come back to China. Please subscribe and check out my other China and Chengdu videos if you'd like!
