I’ve been watching since the tent days and I have to say that the Florida content is hands down some of the best you have shared. You both seem so at home there and the fresh seafood is amazing. Perhaps a retirement there one day? 😊. Happy Memorial Days and God Bless!

I've surf fished Pensacola Beach off and on for over 40 years (I live just 30 minutes away) and have never caught a Jack! Cool catch! 😎 I see you use cast iron skillets. FYI, Lodge makes a couple of skillets with camping designs on the bottom. They are called Lodge Wonderlust Series! I have the 8 inch and 10 inch. I'm a primitive tent camper and use these skillets! 😊

Very nice area. Me and my wife took a coastal Jeep trip from Surfside Tx , stayed along the coast as much as we could. We even ran across the birth home of jimmy buffet in Pascagoula Mississippi and also stopped off at the famous Floribama bar near grill. Anyway we finally ended up in Pensacola beach and camped 4 nights in one of the parking lots close to the FT Pickens campground. We also went to Navarre FL and camp in one of the beach parking lots. That was one of the best unplanned trips we have taken. This video makes me want to take another trip

Thanks for that explanation of Pensacola and settlement status. We were just in both cities this past month and I saw the sign that said, Welcome to Downtown Pensacola America’s First Settlement and I thought wait a minute we were just there last week weren’t we??

in eastern NC, we call sand fleas “ sand fiddlers”. Interestingly, since dredging was first performed decades ago to replenish the beaches, the sand fiddlers are really rarely ever seen. I love that y’all are able to live in such a small space and you still take every opportunity to pursue your individual interests.

Hi Cody & Kelly, I am fairly new to your channel and I love it! I was born in Arkansas (Bentonville) and ended up on the Emerald Coast of Florida, (Ft Walton Beach and Navarre Beach). I love it when you are in either place! Keep up the good work! Cody, it is so cool that you give us the history of the places you visit! Kelly, my mouth waters watching you cook!

I’m a newish subscriber and I keep thinking y’all should think about recording the sounds of nature that you experience. Throughout my advanced years, okay I’m old 😂, I have been using nature sounds to drown out the noise of my tinnitus. The sound of the waves of the ocean is very soothing. One of the older videos I watched was by a beautiful river and the sound was so beautiful. The birds in the background made it even better. My favourite sound is a light rain on a tent, campfire crackling and the gentle waves of a lake. It takes me back to a time that I could do that kind of camping. I love what y’all are doing, living a beautiful peaceful life and sharing your experiences with the world. Keep on trucking. ♥️

Grew up in a beach town was one the beach having fun or working every single day . And if we saw a man -o -war on the beach we didn’t go in . If they said there was a shark sighting we would go in . Go figure .. Went to Pensacola for a meeting at the base once and liked the town but didn’t get to the beach due to weather …. My brother went to the hospital due to one of my those and I saw a girl with huge barber pole stripes around her leg from one . What you probably did was bump into a broken off tentacle .. or isn’t this the time of year for the sea lice in Florida ?
