You pronounced his surname correctly. Dimash Qudaibergen is considered the greatest singer in the world. He is from Kazakhstan but is currently living in the U.S. He holds a Doctorate in Music, a Masters in Music composition. He began his Classical vocal and instrumental training at age 5 and is currently age 29. Like many Kazak's, he is Eurasian. Tall at 6'3". Athletic, loves playing soccer, Redbelt in Taekwondo, tennis, he is a swimmer.... What you just watched and heard is only a portion of his abilities He has a 7+ octave range and hits every not with grandeur and ease. Vocal coaches from all over the world have named him 'the greatest singer in the world". He sings in many languages, is fluent in Kazak and Russian, is good in English but is not yet aware of all of our speech nuances. My personal opinion is that between Dimash and Avi Kaplan, it is good to hear great singers again. Most these days have mechanically altered voices.

The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. Welcome to DImash. Just the tip of the iceberg. He is fluent in his native Kazakh as well as Russian with English now becoming his third language. However, he sings in up to 15 or maybe even more now languages, French, Kazakh, Russian, Ukrainian, English, Itailian, Mandarin, Japanese etc. He is a multi instrumentalist and also composes music, does MV's, charitable work and is always, always incredibly respectful and polite. He does different genres of music as well. Check out Stranger which is in English and Sinful Passion (Russian) both are must see videos. Ikanaide in Japanese is performed very up close and personal as it was performed live from a studio due to covid restrictions. It is breathtaking.

Thank you for discovering Dimash and welcome to a beautiful world of music. Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 7,7 octaves (vocal fry C1 (B0) - whistle D8 off the piano). That means he hits notes in almost 8 octaves and sings consistently in 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly😅). At least what he has shown us so far. And this in all the different registers . His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of daily hard training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert!). And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 15 languages so far). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. Sometimes he also can be a little bit goofy, and I love it❤️. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in his hometown Almaty, it was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄. He sang this song on his digital concert in January 2021 during the pandemic. He had to cancel his tour and did this concert for his Dears/fans. That’s why there was no audiende to be seen or heard. SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. SOS is the song that introduced Dimash to the world and opened many great opportunities and collaborations for him. There are a number of versions of Dimash singing this song, each different but all great. This particular version comes from the Dimash Digital Show put on during the pandemic after all live concerts were cancelled and he had to cut his Arnau Tour short. The song SOS comes from the famous 1978 Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania', which is well known in French-speaking countries, and is a pretty difficult song to sing. In 2017 Dimash received a wild card for the competition “The Singer” in China. He was the youngest participant ever at 22 years old and the first non-Chinese. Only professional, award-winning singers take part in this competition. Although well-known and respected in his homeland Kazakhstan, few in China knew or heard about Dimash before, but with his first song, SOS, Dimash shocked the audience and captured the hearts of over 600 million of viewers overnight, and the rest is history as the saying goes.

Welcome to the best singer in the world and this century right now. No male or female can match his voice. Not even Mariah Carey or any one else can match his voice. He has a flawless octave range up to 7.7 and whistle tone up to D8 the dog whistle sound. 👍 He has a huge rabbit hole to dive into and a huge fan base called Dears. American fan here from the deep South. Dimash can sing anything and sing it perfectly. He has perfect pitch and perfect vocal control. With a 7 octave range he is unbelievable. Frankly in my opinion this wasn't the best version of him singing "SOS". My favorite version is the one at The Slavic Bazaar. Anyway he has a sensational performance that is sung in English called " Stranger (new wave 2021)". It shows all his vocal jawdropping abilities...and the ending is unreal.

Time to go get your Dimash tattoo. As others have stated in their comments you have only touched the tip of the iceberg. Suggest you watch “Stranger next. At least a six to seven octave range, sings in at least 12 languages, speaks as many as five, including English which has improved tremendously since 2017 when he hit the internet, multi instrumentalist, produces many of his videos, one of which is epic; “The Story of One Sky .” Spent his own money and three years to produce a very moving and timely message. Classically trained, a humanitarian whose message is always positive,a patriot from Kazakhstan who loves his country and all of his fans called “ Dears.” He is undoubtedly the most talented performer on this planet. Congratulations, you just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He is a twenty-nine year old multi-faceted artist with a soul of a thousand years, who hails from Kazakhstan. He sings in 16 different languages (speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, some English, and a little Mandarin), plays 8 musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in musicology (has a Masters in composition). He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 7 octave 2 semi-tone range, has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble and kind man. His mother is an opera singer and his father is a singer and producer. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "Sinful Passion" 2018, "Stranger" 2021,"Olimpico" 2019 link on Igor Krutoy's (composer that came out of retirement to work with Dimash) KZbin channel, "Adagio" from The Singer 2017, "Ikanaide" 2021 Tokyo Jazz Festival, and "Ave Maria" 2021 at New Wave. After digesting those performances, I can't stress enough my recommendation for one of his most recent songs and music video (mini movie) the artistic masterpiece "The Story of One Sky" that he wrote the screenplay for and spent 3 years composing the music for, which displays a lot of his range (not all) and soooo many vocal techniques and dynamics, including sub harmonics, whistle register, bass, tenor, baritone, classical, jazz, pop, rock and unreal metal screams....and unbelievable dramatic acting. Dimash is just amazing, his vocal range is out of this world. You have to see him do Sinful Passion, and an original song written just for him Stranger, that song is incredible, the ranges he goes to.
