Welcome to the world of Dimash! Thank you for your genuine reaction and appreciation of Dimash’s insane talent. He’s not only an exceptional vocalist, but also an accomplished musician, and an amazing performer. Dimash has a vocal range of over 6 octaves, which is quite impressive; but that’s not what defines him. He sounds exquisite at any range, which is incredible in and of itself. Besides, his voice has so many colors and tone to it, not mentioning his vocal dynamics. His voice is soaring only to express his intense emotions, whether it’s a cry for help (SOS), a yearning (Samaltau), or to express pain or loss (The Story of One Sky). Dimash, being a composer himself (“Unforgettable Day”- Ұмытылмас күн, The Story of One Sky, El Amor en Ti…), knows how the song he interprets must be delivered. Indeed, what I love about Dimash is that he does not use his vocal abilities to show off, but to serve the song: through his voice, he’s telling us a story. In short, he’s not only a masterful vocalist - It’s precisely thanks to his mastery that Dimash is able to freely dive, and tap, into his emotions; but he’s also a great storyteller. What I love about him as well is the way he immerses himself in the songs he sings. Also, know that Dimash is classically trained - he even declined a position as an opera singer when he was only 22, and has absolute pitch (a rare cognitive trait by the way) which was discovered when he was only 5 years old. He deserves to be a household name with such a talent and gift! Thank you for discovering Dimash and welcome to a beautiful world of music. Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 7,7 octaves (vocal fry C1 (B0) - whistle D8 off the piano). That means he hits notes in almost 8 octaves and sings consistently in 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly😅). At least what he has shown us so far. And this in all the different registers . His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert!). And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 15 or 16 languages so far). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. Sometimes he also can be a little bit goofy, and I love it❤️. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in Almaty, Kazakhstan was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄. The thing with the flowers has something to do with respect for the artist. It's a cultural thing. The audience listens to a performance without yelling or screaming that the artist can no longer be heard. No sound may be missing. In return, they then shower Dimash with flowers and gifts. That's the norm there. He then always donates the flowers to hospitals, retirement homes or similar institutions. He sang this song as a guest at the Slavic Bazaar in Belarus 2018. It’s an International Festival of Arts and a contest for young singers, which he won in 2015. SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. He was just 22 years old at the time. Please also react to The Singer competition as soon as you can. Please react to Sinful Passion next. And watch the videos from start to finish and you will see how kind and lovely he is. And I always recommend turning on the subtitles, if available. Here he sings in a competition for young musicians, called New Wave in Sochi, Russia. He was there in 2018 as a guest. The musicians who accompany him are called A-Studio. It's a Kazakh band that wrote this song in 1998. However, Dimash sang it differently. And in my opinion much better 😄. The gentleman at the end you see standing and clapping is the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. He has come out of retirement to work with Dimash. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. If possible, always watch the videos from start to finish. Very often there are interesting things to learn. Either there’s something to laugh about, or he’s talking to his audience. He always thanks his musicians. He is incredibly humble and never acts like a star. When he is praised, he constantly says that it is thanks to his teachers and his parents, who made it all possible for him. He’s just incredible. SOS is Dimash masterpiece!! It is an existentialist song, about ups and downs in life, depression and death, when you feel you don’t belong here. Dimash is a world class artist from Kazakhstan, turned 29 on the 24th of May but touring the world to sell out arenas with his solo concerts, he also performs in concerts with the famous Ukrainian/Russian composer Igor Krutoy, is constantly collecting awards, attends many prestigious red carpet events, film festivals and even models for lots of high end fashion houses. He is university trained in Classical opera vocals to degree level, also holds a degree in contemporary pop music and jazz with a major in vocals, and now has finished his master degree in music composition. He started his doctorate in Musicology.He has been having singing lessons from the age of 5 when his teacher noticed he had perfect pitch . He was offered a place at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but respectfully turned it down to pursue his own more contemporary musical career. He is a multi instrumentalist, more than 8 instruments and also sings in 15 different languages and has a range of over 6 octaves from a low bass A2 to a high soprano, plus a whistle register with his highest note so far being a 5 second D8 with vibrato. He is widely recognized as the best vocalist in the world. He speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is studying English and Mandarin and has conversational skills in both but not quite fluent yet. Dimash is a once-in-a-lifetime artist! He has a 7.2 octave range &, as you said, his control is second to none. Please don't leave it another year before you watch more as I promise you will continue to be stunned & amazed by everything he does. He songs all genres from Opera to pop, rock, folk, classical and he even raps & does it all to perfection. He also sings in 14 languages, is a multi-instrumentalist and composer. Después de escucharlo y dejar que su voz penetre hasta lo más profundo de tu alma, algo cambia dentro de tí, es una vibra y una energía diferente que no puedes entender, solo lo puedes sentir. Inevitablemente un escalofrío empieza a recorrer los poros de tu piel y no puedes contener las lágrimas que te empiezan a brotar de forma natural. Dimash no es solo una voz, es la unión de todo! Se le llama la voz madre porque a partir de él nacen todas las voces, él no necesita imitar ningún tipo de voz ya que se ejecuta a sí mismo, posee oído absoluto. Es único! Con tan solo 29 años es multintrumentista, compositor, actor, productor, arreglista, bailarín. Su arte es tan hermoso que es como si Dios nos hablase a través de él. His range is 7 octaves+2semitones (C1-D8 hope I‘m not wrong) I would love you to do a reaction of „Stranger“ Dimash is doing many genres. Rock, Pop, Opera, Rap, Jazz…uptempo or ballads. He is also a very kind person, discover the Dimash-world by yourself and you‘ll find a lot what he did. He has a big education in music. I don’t know exactly but I think two or three Bachelors and two masters in music and works on his ph.d. He did a lot of covers, but composes himself. Hello. Welcome to Dimash's world. 🤩I just adore when I see the reactions to him for the first time. People always say that he's an alien: of course he´s not! If you continue to react you'll see, that this is only the begining. At this time (2018) Dimash was 24 years old. Now he is 29. He's being studying and singing since he was 4 years old, always in music schools, high school and college.👋 Was invited to be a part of Astana Opera wich he refused, because he wants to do neoclassical/pop. This is a cover, but he have many songs. He's an independent snger. I believe that it is why so many people don't know about him. He did a Masters degree in music (Jazz/pop(?)) and I believe that he has already finished is PhD in composition. If not, he is writting his thesis. He practices techniques/voice at least 3h/day singing with teachers/voice coaches or by himself. Every day!!! Since he was 4!!! 😮If you want to continue reacting to Dimash, maybe you shoud listen to more recent music (he is even better, if it's possible). Stranger, Ave Maria, Fly away, Omir... this are my recomendations, but you may want to see the song (2nd?) with the most views, is Sinfull Passion (2017/2018). Welcome to the very deep rabbit hole that is Dimash. He has so many great songs. His other 'Dears' will recommend more, but I'd recommend "Stranger", "El Amor En Ti", "Samaltau", "Hello", "Sinful Passion" and "Ikanaide ". "The Story of One Sky" is a masterpice. Prepare yourself for it. Also, watch (Not for reaction, but to learn about him, some of his family videos, and airport interactions. ) This is a kind, respectful, thoughtful man. This is a cover from a French song. This was written by Michel Berger and Luc Plamondon for the rock opera Starmania in the 70's. This song was especially composed for Daniel Balavoine, unknown at this time but famous after that. He became the favorite composer, writer and singer in France. He died in an helicopter accident during the race Paris-Dakar almost 30 years ago, but he's still in our minds and hearts. Nice reaction, thanks and love from France 🇫🇷😘

Right now Dimash lives in Los Angeles and collaborates with such famous American producers as David Foster, Ralph Simon, Walter Afanasiev. Hans Zimmer also expressed his interest in working with Dimash. I really hope that Dimash's popularity will explode in the near future in this part of the world too. He is currently the only one worthy of the title of the world's global superstar.

The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. Dimash Qudaibergen is a Kazak singer and is 29 years old. He has a 7+ octave range and is stunning in every note he sings. He is a classically trained singer and his training began at age 5. He still traines and is currently living in the U.S. He completed his Doctoral Studies and Dissertation in music this past spring. He then moved to L.A. to attend the L.A. branch of the N.Y. I love watching people discover Dimash. No one is prepared. Dimash is a once in a life time singer. Pretty much every song he does is different than what you expect. He has been training since he was 5 and still trains. He's super humble and listening to him is almost a religious experience lol. He has also done a few covers of known songs. Buckle up, your in for quite the ride lol. Also, a lot of people think "how can such a big voice be in such a small body". He's actually over 6' tall.

You said the right thing - Dimash has the greatest voice you can ever hear! We all felt like that when we first heard him back in 2017. He was only 23 then and he has matured as an artist. He started off with over six octaves, but I believe he now has up to almost 8 octave, because he is expanding his lower ranges. You are looking at a one in a billion maybe one in 7 billion. SOS was my introduction to Dimash. Totally captivated! Down the rabbit hole for 12 hours listening to everything I could find. There are too many great songs to recommend, any one you pick will be great. It is Ave Maria that gets to me every time. I've listened to that more that 50 times and I cry every time. I desperately want to see Dimash live but not sure I could handle the emotional experience. I'll say: "Dear Lord, I am ready. I've heard your angel on Earth, so bring me home." ON a separate note, I recommend you listen to "Wonderland Indonesia, Part 2.: This is 20 minute music video/film that traces the history of Indonesia's independence, written, directed, produced and starred in by Allfy Rev, famous in the music industry of Indonesia.
