bdan Not saying I completely disagree but even if professional dancers would show off their talent on tiktok (or any other platform) they are not guaranteed to succeed. @benwaldvogel59294 жыл бұрын
@@charlesm.2604 there is really no comparison between tiktok dancers and actual professional dancers. at least as far as ballet, contemporary, and hybrid companies are concerned. if you are a professional dancer, you generally dance in a company, and most of these organizations are shut down right now. not only do they provide the funding for their dancers, they also provide studios to rehearse in. a tiktok "dancer" would only need an area of about 3'x3' to perform for a video, and really requires no training whatsoever. while for example a ballet dancer specifically would require at LEAST 10'x10' just to participate in an entire warmup class (for reference this includes jumping and turning across the room and 10 by 10 is still relatively small). back to my point about training, tiktok dances are designed to be easy, and fun to learn so that anyone can do them. performing an entire classical ballet (generally in 2 or 3 acts depending on the ballet) is so far beyond a 45 second dance that it's mind boggling to compare the two. i trained for 12 years until i was accepted for an UNPAID position as a trainee in a professional company, and then spent the next two years only making $2.50 an hour for a 40 hour workweek. i don't want to put down the fun of tiktok dances, because there's really nothing wrong with them. they provide a more accessible version of dance on a viral scale, but ballet is a fine art that demands so much more out of people than simply picking up a phone and hitting the woah a couple times.

I used to feel mad about it but do you see how greedy they are? Greedy people are NEVER satisfied. Like that couple on Drew's channel who complained that they had to stay in their slightly smaller mansion for a few weeks because the LANDSCAPING wasn't done on their much bigger mansion and they didn't want to move in until it was finished. They made a whole ass video on it. Like maybe I don't live in a mansion but those people are the kind of people where if they don't get something immediately then they are instantly upset and agitated compared to people like me who live paycheck to paycheck and when a vending machines gives me 2 Reese's cups instead of 1 I feel lucky and blessed. I don't want to become super mega rich to where I'm so desensitized to simple joys.

I don't think they're paying to live there tho, they're all probably under contracts and companies behind them are renting these giant mansions so they can make content. Their asses would go bankrupt in a split second if they were to actually buy these houses for them, as their tik tok careers will probably die once they reach 30.

Don't let it bother you guys. Notice how those houses are always empty and clean. That is not possible at all if kids were actually living there. The only house that looks legit is the Faze house because they actually live and sleep there. Rest of them look like they just use the house as a stage and a spot for them to meet up.
@MrEL91N4 жыл бұрын
Jime MC you are exactly correct. I live just south of LA and they have actually done stories about it on the news. A lot of people don’t like it. There are companies buying up real estate left and right and then renting them out to tik tok people and other social media types. They rent them for cheaper than it would typically cost normally to rent a place of that size but also at enough of an increase that they make some extra off it. For some of the tik tok people it’s in their contract that they have to live in one of these houses. It’s almost like they’re actors and the houses are the movie sets where they work.

I'd rather have a smaller apartment where the bills and maintenance can be easily managed no matter how much money I have, and I can decorate it however I want instead of having to look at the bland, minimalistic vibe all these mansions seem to go for.

7 million for a house like that in the UK is really surprisingly cheap. it must be in the middle of nowhere
@kat-ky5gg4 жыл бұрын
That is what i was thinking, Americans forget how small the houses in Europe are, and how much more a square meter costs. But i was very surprised it was this cheap too, probably in the middle of nowhere. But again upkeeping must also cost a lot, with the trees and all..

Yes the house is really far from civilisation 7 mil in somewhere like london will get you a tiny terrace house

The House Nobody Asked For are actually pretty talented and hilarious. It’s not a fancy house and the guys and girls don’t dance, they actually do skits and their individual channels were funny too. They’re also multicultural too. They actually got COVID tests too and aren’t partying like the others.
