I think the worst part about these movies is that they’re just so lazy. The filmmakers couldn’t even be bothered to come up with their own original characters that could be new horror icons. Instead they take someone else’s characters and turn them into something they’re not

@@GojoTorrance Actually they started filming this immediately after Winnie the Pooh became public domain. They don’t have to pay Disney for anything unless they use something from Winnie the Pooh that is exclusive to Disney. The same goes for Wizard of Oz. Disney can make a Wizard of Oz movie but they can’t use the red shoes because that’s exclusive to the MGM movie and the shoes were silver in the book. Still, it just screams cash grab that they pounced on this right away as soon as it became public domain.

Honestly I understand where the director for this movie got the idea. Long story short: He took that dark Disney theory of Christopher Robin being schizophrenic, and turned it into a horror movie. Also I just saw the movie a few minutes ago. While not the greatest movie, the death scenes where done very well in my opinion
