Excellent playing - and the fact that the kid was able to play when the adult hopped in shows just how much talent he has - it is incredibly hard to play and keep your rhythm with another player you are unfamiliar with - hats off to both!

To many are exposed to cRAP music, helium filled pop girly singers, etc. and think they are cool to be with the "in" crowd. This youngster in the video seems to have a good liking for it and damn good too. If you are a "DJ" I am sure you are playing it when you can :)

Imagine what music would be without Boogie Woogie? It's the foundation of most musical styles. Even the great Chuck Berry said his guitar playing style was influenced by Boogie Woogie.

I met Mr. Jerry Lee Lewis outside of a club in San Francisco in 1978. I wasn't even 21 but I got in with my date. Wow he's the greatest!!! Elvis was still alive. But by the time I moved back to Oregon died.

Boogie goes back to the 1940's when the GI's of the 2nd WW made it famous...Actually, it goes back to the late '30's as far as I'm able to remember. 50's music was much different. We will always have Boogie Woogie,. It will never go out of style.
