I've joined a swim club for the first time in 15 years BECAUSE OF THIS VLOG! You've made me realise how much I have missed the environment and the training. I'm ruined right now after last night! Finished in the top 70 at Swim Serpentine this year with no specific training - next year I want to be in the top 1%, which means top 26!

I actually had a killer practise on Wednesday! 😅 (we swim meters) Warm up: just swim and drills 4x (50 free and 50 breast) where it starts in ok tempo and every set gets faster (i1 to i4) 20x25 free @30 p.r. + 3 seconds (i5) 200 kicks hard 16x25 breast @35 p.r. +3 sec. (i5) 150 kicks hard 8x25 free @40 p.r. + 1 sec (i6) 100 kicks hard 4x25 breast @45 max (as fast as you can) 50 slow 12x25 fly @35 with fins. 12 kicks and down to 1 per 25. 200 out. Total meters: 3100 (because i missed 200 in warm up) 😛

Cody, I live in Seattle and one time this week my coach worked us so hard during a practice that most of my friends and I were dead. Then my coach gave us five minutes rest then said that we had to swim are best event and are time needed to be within 1 second of are best. Surprisingly I set a best time as well as some of my friends. I swam a 1:58.3 200 free and I am 14 years old.

I did a racepace lactate set and it really was a tough one. My team died doing it and it was not about the training but my mindset, I was giving myself so much negative self talk to stop and rest but at the back of my mind I continued swimming and pushed myself. At the end I hit a new time in the pool and it really felt great knowing that I just conquered the set but also mentally won myself on the negative part

Hey Cody! I was at a regional camp today for swimming technique and swimming outside the box. At lunch, we were watching the ISL and you were on it but then my coach pointed out that he really likes to watch Cody Miller. So I said I'm subscribed to him and i love to watch his videos. Then, my coach told us that we were going to watch you and your vlogs because of how inspirational and positive you are towards training and in general. Everyone at the camp enjoyed watching you so i think you're gonna have a like 30 more subscribers at once coming your way😂keep doing what you're doing❤

My coach decided that every practice there is a set with parachute. It is literally killing, no matter if it’s the first or last set it is always hard!💪🏼🥵 Luckily for me I only train 5 times a week with the team, the rest I do alone. So for me it is very helpful to see what kind of sets you do, it gives me a little bit of inspiration.🤗

Sprinter here, don't hate please. So recently I've been training with the kaatsu on and let me tell u 'bout that, it is hell. But it actually helps to get used to the pain for the second 50 of the 100 of any stroke. That or to use like pullies or wet socks and chutes. And for real, don't ever think that the sprinter sets or practices are easy, bc u cannot make any mistakes on the race. We always practice as if we were racing, so no, it is not easy at all. Really been loving the vlogs Cody, keep it up and are you going to Greensboro?

Been out of the water for a few weeks from a hip injury... Just recently getting back in. My time in the weight has me benching an extra 20 lbs. Meaning that getting back to the water I kick butt for a single 100 yrd free or a 50 fly but as I figured out when I did a super long best average set. I had a terrible average but I won in that I kept the effort at 100%. Despite all the pain of having completely lost my arobic training base I built up before getting injured.
