Making content in lockdown becomes harder there's only so many times you can go up the storage yard and film.

We booked for Easter, May bank holiday, May half term & three weeks in the summer holidays like we always do. Deposits paid, just like last year. We tend to book the same places every year with the odd change for May Day bank holiday. Never had any issues last year & don’t foresee any this. Secondly, our caravan storage is 12 miles away from our house, so last year during lockdown we cycled over there a few times & cooked lunch in the van. The girls really enjoyed it.

Apart from holiday's moved from last year, all bookings this year are through the CAMC , just because we can cancel is we are still in lockdown. As for zoom, never used it , so can't help there, but having a virtual coffee chat / meet up sounds good. Keep safe and sane 👍Mark & Coral

We were just talking to a site in Wales yesterday and they were saying a large part of their lack of availability for this year was because of the number of people who had carried over bookings from last year. I guess that explains how there may be fewer pitches this summer. In work this weekend so hopefully find a techy uni student to help us out with Zoom. Really want to see if we can't get a bit of a virtual coffee and chat sorted. Take care both of you Alan

The trouble with caravan and motorhome club is you dont need to put a deposit down, so people book a few places on same dates different sites and dont turn up. That's why they're always fully booked. That's my opinion anyway. I never joined the club. Tranquil parks have got some of the best parks around. On european travel, I've never been abroad with the caravan or drove over there, I would love to do that. Hopefully we can do that next year.

Enjoying your vlogs, Wales is a stunning country to explore but as you are finding out they are still in the 80's when trying to book anything. Some sites in Wales still want you to download a booking form, its absolute madness. If you want to visit Paris give Camping Paris a view, superbly located on the bank of the River Seine and every 30 mins a bus from the campsite entrance drops off in central Paris for 2 euros. To the west of Paris a lovely rural site just across the road from a train station with direct trains straight into central Paris called Camping Iris Parc Le Chene Gris. Brittany attracts lots of caravans and a stunning site is Camping Du Letty near Benodet superb beaches and coastline, great for cycling or walking. If you decide to venture to France the roads are super easy and the toll motorways have superb services at regular intervals. Further down the west coast south of Bordeaux is a stunning site on the coast called Camping Village Le Vieux Port, Messanges. This year booked Keswick 10 days end of May and 2 weeks in Dorset end of July onward's and 5 days at Cheddar CMC for August bank holiday, any other time away will be weekend escapes generally off grid on meets/rallies through the two major clubs. Enjoy your new van its got everything for all year round vanning and good luck with the vlogs i subscribe to a lot of vloggers on caravans, campervans and motorhomes and im confident you have a winning formula and wish you lots of luck with the vlogging regards Jim😀😀

I think fully serviced pitches are the only way to go. More expensive but save having to keep filling the aquaroll. Try one for a weekend before you commit to a longer break, a few are in the north east. Just a minor point, but surely your spelling should be coffeevanners?

Zoom, would be nice to chat and share views. Our van is on drive at the moment and we too use it as another room, although we don’t use it every night, I do like to get in there, we have had our nieces over for a sleep over, which was nice. @@jaimielibbi1 We were looking at the Mavic Air 2 but opted for the Mini 2 purely because of the legacy drone situation. Didn't want to go to that expense and then the A2CofC to find at end 2022 we'd get put in that A3 category.
