In 2016 my husband and I retired from active duty army family life and planted roots in Alabama. We started a homestead from scratch, and shared that journey here on KZbin. In 2022 we answered the call to the mountains of Arkansas, where we are starting that journey once again.

And yes, l hardly think that God is frowning on us fumbling around with contradictory calendars and trying our best to keep His Feasts... Rather l believe that He is pleased that we are loving Him and want to please Him by keeping His Feast Days, as close as we know how, to His original command. Like any good parent, He is pleased to see us doing our best with it, and would be disappointed with bickering and divisive arguments. We need to get on with loving one another. I did not catch if the missing Bible was one gifted to you to giveaway. Have you purchased or brought anything "used" in to your home lately? Some may disagree but I believe some items coming from a questionable environment can draw evil to us. With your Scriptural witnessing, the Devil won't be happy.

It was a brand new bible. Interesting that you brought this up. As I was praying about it yesterday, I determined that it was time to pray over the whole house again. I do it periodically. Spiritual warfare is a very real thing. The bible is still "missing."

@@CosmopolitanCornbread I think it's wise. My grandmothers could "see" things ahead of time on occasion. My Dad inherited his mother's fragile china sugar bowl and us kids were never told why but he felt like that had no place in our home. On his way to work early one morning, he threw it out the car window. It bounced around on the pavement but did not break. He stopped at threw it at a fence post and it shattered into tiny shards. He felt chills and went back home. My Mom covered him in blankets and read to him from the Bible and he calmed down. I love vintage/used items but if there is any indication of spiritism (ouija/Tarot) practiced there, I just leave without buying anything. I think there can be "transmitters" that bring unseen forces to us. On the other hand, Job of old drew evil attention because of his prosperity and blessings from God. I know commenters will think I am paranoid but it's nothing to mess with for sure.

I can attest to my time becoming Spiritual starting 30 yrs ago that the more time I spend growing closer to my Lord the stronger the Evil seems to get! I am so glad my Lord is stronger than that evil!🙏🙏🙏
