Deep 27 is for 10g or less coffee right? I think that’s why it’s deep. To help extract smaller grams

I don't know if it was designed for lesser quantities. I figured that there was some benefit to the greater depth - similar to what other espresso manufacturers claim for the narrower (and deeper) portafilters.
