Hi John for catfish we use chicken liver on a tribble hook and cut up a small piece of pantyhose and lay ihe hook and liver on and tie around the top that way your liver will stay on also take a can of fish catfood put holes in the can and throw in where you fish it attracts catfish,you can put a piece of string on the can to pull back in when your done.

I always always enjoy your videos, and I don't care if they're "professional" or not! My videos are far below professional but I enjoy making them. :) Will pheasants hatch their own chicks or is it better to use an incubator? I'm hoping to get more "livestock" on my new homestead including rabbits and maybe a few more chickens, possibly ducks. Even thinking about sheep, but only maybe a mating trio to produce some meat lambs. (No wool!) Have a great rest of the day!
@jnull08 жыл бұрын
I think if they have enough space they will hatch their own, but since we look at them as part of our homestead "business" we use the incubator for maximum hatch rates. You have a great day as well Ann......................J

A question that has come up at our homestead. We are first time chicken ranchers and at the end of may we bought 10 chicks that were 1 to 2 weeks old. They told us that with 90% guarantee on pullets that we very well could have 1 or 2 of them end up being roosters. At what age can you tell the sex for sure? I have heard that we will know when they crow.

Hey J. I'm looking for your video on keeping your rabbits cool. I could swear you made one. Right now we're putting ice bottles in our cages and throwing wet towels over the top. It was 117 yesterday, so we brought them in the house. I'm looking for a better way.
@jnull08 жыл бұрын
I would say that is the best thing to do when it is that hot, I am not sure what that video was called, but it was basically hooking some small computer fans to a solar panel for power to keep a breeze blowing on the rabbits during the day. Let me know if you can't find it or need more info Kim............................J
