It's Manning's 3rd year Red shirted his first year. He could go to the league if he has a good year. The most he will stay is 2 if it's a down year.

I could see Trey Owens staying a couple of years as backup and still have a year or two left as starter. I am not as confident on KJ Lacey staying as long as a backup if opportunities are available elsewhere plus Dia Bell could be the best chance to be the starter after Arch Manning if he stays two or three years as starter. The transfer portal might be where Texas goes after Arch if he leaves after two years starting and the other guys transfer out and Texas looking for a proven experienced QB but that is all just guessing about what might happen in the future. I am thrilled we have Arch Manning as starter at least a year or two and maybe a third year, exciting times!!

That’s a deceptive stat bc all of us saw how many times receivers dropped balls directly into an incoming defender awarding an INT that really belonged to the receiver. They need to fix that but he did have a few fumbles and errant throws, he wasn’t perfect by any means, but a lot of those INTs weren’t his fault

Some pointed out that he could have meant returning to the playoffs. Normally one would use "we'll be back" in such a case, I think, but it's hard to say.

Wingo will be the biggest winner with Arch taking over. He got open a lot this year but Quinn didn’t throw catchable balls to him. He drew the most PIs but if those balls were thrown well, he has 5-10 more big catches this year.

Texas needs their bigger safeties on the field. Taaffe tried to fill the whole on goal line against Junkin the Ohio St RB and got trucked for a TD. Ohio St safety filled the whole and stopped our big running back. Not a hatter on Taaffe he may be great in coverage but short yardage too light in the paints.

Problem I have with things now, is you're expected the constantly pay the players, but they show no loyalty in return, lol. We went from one extreme to the other with how things are and now it's arguably worse. I'm all for player agency, but this constant holding teams hostage for more money, is just ludicrous. This is not the NFL. At some point, they have to pump the brakes on this stuff.
