HA!!! This is the best approach to coffee, synths, and beat-making! My espresso maker became a fright-fest after I shined a light into its cavity and saw some disturbing scaling and mineralization. So now I use a bialetti 'moka express' for the more concentrated espresso, and the pour over glass-careth process for making coffee americana. Eventually, I'd like to get a new espresso maker as well... but those things can cost as much as a MiniFreak or Digitakt!! But much like you, I absolutely love coffee, so its probably a wise investment!!

If I know anything about my addictive nature of electronic instruments, my guess is that the art of making fine coffee is probably equally addictive :)
