Fun hack regarding balls in your yard: use bowing balls. You can go to thrift stores and get them there. I've bought several for my yard. You can get creative: plant partially in the ground and paint the exposed area to look like a beetle. Limitless options. Happy gardening

I've done this too, with several in my garden. I spray painted one in a shiny silver color and the other I collected old dishes and broke them and made a mosaic over the bowling ball, sealing it well from the weather. (I bring them inside the garage during the winter in New England.)

OMyyyyy!!! I can’t tell you how many times I complained to Home Depot workers their plants need water and are dying! That pretty plant with the flowers is highly toxic to animals. Be careful because you have a puppy ❤
