The Sea moss and Dead Sea Mud must have made a very luxurious-feeling soap. I have researched using kelp powder in soap. Did it leave a distinct odor or did it fade with the cure? I know some people are able to compliment the odor with essential oils and fragrance oils. From what I’ve read, rosemary seemed to be the best one to use.

What a beautiful, sunny yellow you achieved with the annatto infusion your soap is truly wonderful .. thank you so much for sharing such a wonderful tip on using the flax seed gel .. now I will give back to everyone watching another tip .. use avocado pulp puree to add extra creamy lather into any cp recipe you can also use in HT soap but it will darken your soap recipe with the cook .. @@jo1872 in cold or hot process soap the avocado pulp is basically “ cooked” into your soap batter so it doesn’t cause any issues with spoilage the lye technically dissolves it into oil/natural sugars .. the natural sugars and oil adds creamy lather to your soap recipe

Such a relaxing video. You are so right about the citric acid. It kills me when people say it lowers the pH. But I just want to say that making separate citric acid solution and adding it directly to the oils will accelerate so much because in there it reacts with the lye! I found that adding to the the lye solution will heat up all the solution like crazy. So i do it there and wait till it cools before adding to the oils.
