Realize this is 6 years old but so happens i picked up a computer second hand that had almost this exact setup...got it for 500 bucks. Year later I had to replace the graphics card and decided while I was in there to upgrade the graphics card to a 4060TI, install a second M.2, replace the already installed kingston HD with a samsung 2TB SSD and upgraded the triforce 16g to 32G ram. Only thing left on this rig thats old is the 370E motherboard and 8700 I7 processor. Neither of which are showing any signs of breaking down. Watched this video to see how its all done, thank you for the detailed video it truely helped me make the repairs. Believe it or not this 2017 rig is now running newer games with ease on ultra settings. I am shocked, all for under 1k.

BILLABONGSTEFANO The gaming 5 only has 2 and the gaming 7 has 3.... I ended up going the Strix even though I wasn't going to, purely just because of aesthetics. And it matches my Strix 1080ti.
@P1Fanatic7 жыл бұрын
I do like the full on RGB of the Aorus but prefer the more subtle lighting of the Asus Strix and prefer to keep in line with GPU for single RGB control via Aura Sync. Down to personal pref / aesthetics really. A lot of reviews prefer the asus BIOS and the M2 heatsink does the best job.

I have a bunch of questions... Did you try to OC that CPU and what were you able to achieve? What voltage did you use to achieve that certain CPU frequency? Is that CPU delided? What CPU cooler are you using? Did you do any stress testing with AIDA64 or prime95 to see max temps? I would like to buy this CPU, but I'm afraid it will go over 85°C when I OC it to 5GHz ... just want to know what results other users get, so any information is well appreciated :)
